SHO and GEZEL June 12, 2016
Watashiwa na- these are probably the words Sho (a Japanese) has uttered many times when he expresses his feelings to Gezel Clear.
Gezel is a student at STI in the BGC campus while Sho Miyake is a young expatriate working in a Japanese factory located in Laguna.
We met the couple when they first booked our sister events company, Solutions Events, in our very own bridal fair which we organized, the SAVE THE DATE BRIDAL & DEBUT FAIR last February 2016 at the SMX AURA.
Later, I found out that most of the suppliers for their wedding came from Save the Date Fair.
I got the chance to know more about the couple since many times I accompanied them to their suppliers and to the chancery to fix their papers. More so, their pre-nup pictorial was held in our house.
Come June 12, 2016, we all converged at Marco Polo Hotel in Pasig for the wedding preps. It was the usual routine. But I was glad that Sho invited his family who enplaned in from Japan and some of his co-workers to be at the preps.
Wedding ceremony was set at the rustic Nuestra Senora De Gracia in Guadalupe. Everyone was on time. It was a clear day but I could sense that anytime rain may fall. So I was hoping that the bride could alight her bridal car before the rain comes. I also ordered that the drone fly already so at least we will already have an aerial footage. The bride marched at exactly 3pm and then the rain fell.

By this time our aerial shots was not yet complete. We could not fly under that weather. It was still raining when we were already having our group pictorial. It was still drizzling when the guests were already just outside the front door since they could not all go out in the open.
Then it was time for the couple for their grand exit. Suddenly, the rain stopped and we hurriedly set-up the drone. It was a good take . We had a chance to take our usual pictorials on the church’s steps and with the bridal car.
It was an intimate sit down dinner reception at the Marco Polo Hotel with only 100 close relatives and friends invited.

The Japanese occupied at least 3 tables. Everything went well with the party with the SDE of Phases and Faces providing the closing highlight of the wedding. The couple chose 2 beautiful Japanese songs for the AVP and the SDE.
